Matt is going to Vegas in January and we are trying to figure something so that I can join him in Vegas for the weekend.  I have never been and I think it would be so cool to stay in one of the famous Vegas hotels
you always see on TV.  I am not a gambler but I would still like to go into one of the casinos and pull on the slot machine just once.  Having the little one makes it hard to just pick up and go but we are going to give it a shot.

Are you making any Christmas crafts?  Are you making a Christmas gift for someone?  Let me hear from you because as you all know by Advent calendar has been put to the side which really makes me sad but oh well.  So if you have some great craft you are in the middle, starting or just finished go ahead and share with the rest of us.  We love to see someone actually getting something done this season.

Ever wanted to make some of the clothes you see on the TV show project runway?  Well now you can.  Simplicity has launched a line of patterns inspired by the show, Project Runway.  There are currently only 6 patterns in the line but hopefully demand with lead to more patterns being released in the future.  If you make something using one of these please send us a picture and I can put it up for you to share with everyone.

With everyone coming in for the holidays some of them are looking for Hotel Reservations.  I found this site that offers extensive search options while saving you up to 70% on rooms.  Another feature that some people are looking for these days is the ability to call and make reservations rather than booking on line.  You can call and speak to someone 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  Also you can take advantage of their city guide to plan out your trip down to where you are going to have lunch, with address and hours for all of the local restaurants.

Well needless to say it is now the 4th of December and I still have not done anything with the Advent calendar.  I was so motivated too, I don’t know what happened.  I guess my mind has moved on to other things like getting everything else ready for the holiday that the calendar has taken a back seat.  I will keep it out though continuing to make myself feel guilty, I am Catholic I am very good at feeling guilty. 

My sinuses were so messed up last night I had to sleep with two pillows under my head so I could continue to breath. If I had one of those adjustable beds my night would have been a little easier. First thing this morning I was in the shower with the hot water on full blast. Oh what a miserable night, I hope tonight is better.
