We are already thinking about vacation for next even after spending 2 weeks in Asia. In fact Matt mentioned it on the plane ride back from Asia. We are kind of looking at Vegas vacations but more than likely we will go back to Hawaii. I am hoping that when we make the move out to LA, Vegas will be something we do. I would love to go out there and go to the strip and see the giant screen you walk under out there. I bet it is so amazing.

I hate summer at my house for some reason we have these wolf spiders, I don’t know if that is the technically term for them but that is what everyone over here calls them because they will charge you if you threaten them. It is really scary and they are huge and they jump. Anyway we though we were going to have to get some spider traps this year because I was tired of it. Oh did I mention they like the ceiling so when you walk in a room you will see those huge things on the ceiling. We don’t have many of them about 4-5 per year but that is 4-5 too many for me. We were going for most of July so we did not have to deal with them and my in-laws did not say anything about them so I guess they did not come out this year. Thank goodness.

Matt and I were on our way back from the movies last night and we heard on the radio that the number one item that people steal from their work place is pens. Can you believe that? With how cheap they can be and not to mention you can buy way cooler ones than your employer supplies, I don’t understand it. They also said that the age group that is more likely to steal from their employer is 18-24 years old.

We are looking at getting new blinds for the computer room but we have a very odd shaped window in there. I was happy to find that you can get your blinds custom made for your windows for no more than you would pay for just picking them up at the store and you can get all kinds of colors instead of just white.

Well wit Mom and Dad moving down here we are going to start some new adventures in our life. Matt has to start looking at all of the golf equipment they have out there because Dad golfs everyday and Don does sometimes. Dad said Matt had to get gold clubs and all of the things to go with it so he can go with him and Don sometimes when they get down here.

I take a new way to work now so I see all of the little Mom and Pop shops on the main roads going into Tampa. The other day I passed a trophy shop. I have not seen one of those in years like where they use to get you those baseball trophies or science fair trophies except there sign out from said you should get your Mom a trophy. I did not know you could do that. I thought you had to order like a ton of them at a time but I guess I was wrong.

Matt’s birthday is this weekend and I am having a time trying to figure out what to get him. Usually he has a list of things that he would like but not this year, now it is just a few days away and I am clueless. We were out shopping over the weekend and he saw a briefcase that he really liked. It was really nice it was so soft like the way old saddles feel. I love that feeling of worn down leather it is just so soft and smells do good. So I guess we will see that he ends up with.

A friend of our just bought a new house and it has the most beautiful exterior shutters. They look like wood but they are fiberglass. I was completely amazed. Had I known about these a couple of years ago we would have opted for them when we replaced our windows but I am told they are very easy to have added to the house.  We are of course, always looking for ways to add value and beauty to the house and I think these will make a lovely addition.

Matt and I are thinking about getting some new outdoor furniture. We have a great screened in back porch and it is just wasted space right now. We are not using it at all and it is such a waste. We even have a hot tub out there that we have used 2 times since we bought the house. Lani’s sandbox is out there also and she never uses it. We really should retake that space and use it during the summer months. Oh did I mention we have an air conditioner at there too. It is really sad that we do not get out there more often. We need to do something about that.

Matt and I are getting geared up to go to Asia. We are getting so excited and can’t wait but now we have to think about the little details such as passports, travel insurance, time off of work and stuff like that. I can’t wait until all of that is done so we can start thinking about the fun stuff. Two weeks in Asia…..what more could you ask for.
