Now that we have made the decision to move I am looking at all of the job boards and I see there are a lot of San Francisco jobs out there. We are moving to LA but we have a friend in San Francisco and he said a couple of years ago the pickings were very slim. I guess the market is turning, that is good news for me because it should make it easier to land a job once we get out there.

I can’t wait until she plans one for Hawaii. I am hoping that we get to go there again this summer. Matt’s company is talking about putting a trip together maybe this time we will take on of those European cruises. We love to travel around to different places and now that we all have passports it would be easier to just pick up and go.

Matt had to go out to Miami last weekend so when he got back he has surprises for all of us. I was looking at all of the Guess watches while we were in Asia but I could never find one that I really liked. Well, my surprise from Miami was a really cool watch. I was so happy because I though I looked at all the ones Guess made but I evidently not because Matt got me a really nice one. Lani was happy because it looked like Daddy held up the Disney store. LOL She was so excited to see Mickey, Pooh, Tigger and Nemo, she sleeps with all of them at night now.

Our middle daughter is still dealing with teenage acne. We are looking into new acne treatments because of the harsh chemicals in the once you buy over the counter. She has sensitive skin so the ones over the counter tend to make her skin very dry and painful and it looks even redder than it did before she put the “treatment” on. She just started 8th grade so now she is more aware of how she looks and the fact that more people are looking at her.

Well after the trip to Asia, which by the way was so much fun it is back to the real world. In Asia we ate so well and the food was so good but as soon as we landed back in the states we were at McDonald’s in the LA airport. So it is time to get back on the diet pills to maintain the weight that I did manage to lose. It is not that over eat and I feel that I eat a balanced diet but it is for those times that I am running late from work and picking up that baby that sometimes it is just easier to grab fast food.

We want to get the dogs some new pet beds but Smokie makes that very difficult for everyone. I don’t know what we are going to do with him because now he is refusing to use the litter-box. We can not take him anywhere you know like a shelter or something because he is so mean they would put him to sleep and we just can’t do that but he is getting so out of control. With us going to Asia this summer Matt’s parents are going to have to take care of him and that is not going to work out so well at all.

Matt and I have decided to fix up the patio. We were thinking about getting some teak patio furniture since our patio is covered. I don’t know with all of the animals out there it is hard to spend very much money on it because in the long run it just gets messed up. We will see what happens.

Our middle daughter is having a time with acne. She is thirteen and her little face is starting to break out. We do not want her using all of those harsh chemicals on her face so we are looking for a natural acne treatment that is safe and works. There are not that many on the market but we were able to find one that seems to be working, keep your fingers crossed.

With all of us going to Asia this summer I have been looking at a travel guide to help learn my way around a little bit before we there. The one thing I want to do while I am there is eat the stinkiest fruit in the whole. Take a moment to Google it. The girls are so excited and so am I. I want to see all of the street hawkers and eat something on a stick.

This weekend we went to another toddler’s birthday party so that meant a day of shopping. Lani was so amazed at the amount of toys she saw she could not decide which one to pick. It was so funny she just ran around and said OH the whole time. She is so cute.
