Did you know there is a project runway store? I didn’t! You have to check out the Tim Gunn Talking Bobblehead. You can also bid on some of the clothes you see on the show.
Do you have some extra time on your hands and want to try something a little out of the ordinary? How about making doll clothes for your collection or your little one? When Lani was born she was smaller than a cabbage patch doll, these would have been perfect for her because even the preemie clothes were too small for her. Have fun.
New designs have been added to the Project Runway patterns at Simplicity. Take a moment and check them out. My favorite pattern is 3510. I love the long dress.
Running out of ideas on things to make your friends? Have no fear I am here to help you out. How about a cool vest or scarf? These are just simple things you can do to make someone feel very special. You do not have to tell them you just whipped it together. They will feel very special because you thought of them.
Ever wanted to make some of the clothes you see on the TV show project runway? Well now you can. Simplicity has launched a line of patterns inspired by the show, Project Runway. There are currently only 6 patterns in the line but hopefully demand with lead to more patterns being released in the future. If you make something using one of these please send us a picture and I can put it up for you to share with everyone.
Now it is time for the crafty beast to come out in us all. I will be keeping my eye open for great little crafts we can make with little to no effort for holiday goodies. I like the give something out to the people at work but with all of the things I have going on in my life my time is limited so I look for simple but cute crafts. Keep checking back for cool things to make for Christmas.
I found this site that shows you how to make you very own Spartan costume. They have really cool step by step instructions on how to make each part of the costume even the helmet out of cardboard and it looks cool. Just please stay away from the speedo unless you are Brad Pitt or Edward Norton, then by all means go for it. I think this would be a big hit at the party. Make sure you walk around and yell, “For tonight, we dine in hell!” and let’s not forget my favorite, “THIS… IS… SPARTA!” Have fun!!!!

This one got me too so I thought I would pass this one on. Get ready to say “I knew that” After I read it I thought the same thing. Sometimes things can be so simple they are hard.
Enjoy the article.
Here is the link for the Halloween costumes from simplicity. They have a few new ones this year under fairies and dancers. I like pattern 3632, I love the cut of the dress at the bottom.
My daughter is already talking about what she wants to be for Halloween. Sailor Mars? Do they even make a pattern for that? I have not been able to find one. If you have any suggestions please let me know.
