Have you heard about MBT shoes? They are a new shoe that helps you with your posture and relieves the strain on your back and hips you feel when wearing regular shoes. From what I have read and watched these shoes make you feel like you are walking on a beach in the sand. Matt had to go out to Miami last weekend so when he got back he has surprises for all of us. I was looking at all of the Guess watches while we were in Asia but I could never find one that I really liked. Well, my surprise from Miami was a really cool watch. I was so happy because I though I looked at all the ones Guess made but I evidently not because Matt got me a really nice one. Lani was happy because it looked like Daddy held up the Disney store. LOL She was so excited to see Mickey, Pooh, Tigger and Nemo, she sleeps with all of them at night now.

We are already thinking about vacation for next even after spending 2 weeks in Asia. In fact Matt mentioned it on the plane ride back from Asia. We are kind of looking at Vegas vacations but more than likely we will go back to Hawaii. I am hoping that when we make the move out to LA, Vegas will be something we do. I would love to go out there and go to the strip and see the giant screen you walk under out there. I bet it is so amazing.

Our middle daughter is still dealing with teenage acne. We are looking into new acne treatments because of the harsh chemicals in the once you buy over the counter. She has sensitive skin so the ones over the counter tend to make her skin very dry and painful and it looks even redder than it did before she put the “treatment” on. She just started 8th grade so now she is more aware of how she looks and the fact that more people are looking at her.

I hate summer at my house for some reason we have these wolf spiders, I don’t know if that is the technically term for them but that is what everyone over here calls them because they will charge you if you threaten them. It is really scary and they are huge and they jump. Anyway we though we were going to have to get some spider traps this year because I was tired of it. Oh did I mention they like the ceiling so when you walk in a room you will see those huge things on the ceiling. We don’t have many of them about 4-5 per year but that is 4-5 too many for me. We were going for most of July so we did not have to deal with them and my in-laws did not say anything about them so I guess they did not come out this year. Thank goodness.

My anniversary is in a couple of weeks and Matt is going to get me a EEE PC. I am so excited. I already have one notebook computer but this one sounds cool too. These little things are so neat, you can just pop them in your bag and with the wireless Internet you can always stay connected. Hopefully it will allow me to make more post for your guys. Sometimes life can get so busy you need all of the tools you can get to help manage it all. If you have a EEE PC please leave us a comment and let us know what you think about it.

Matt and I were on our way back from the movies last night and we heard on the radio that the number one item that people steal from their work place is pens. Can you believe that? With how cheap they can be and not to mention you can buy way cooler ones than your employer supplies, I don’t understand it. They also said that the age group that is more likely to steal from their employer is 18-24 years old.

Well after the trip to Asia, which by the way was so much fun it is back to the real world. In Asia we ate so well and the food was so good but as soon as we landed back in the states we were at McDonald’s in the LA airport. So it is time to get back on the diet pills to maintain the weight that I did manage to lose. It is not that over eat and I feel that I eat a balanced diet but it is for those times that I am running late from work and picking up that baby that sometimes it is just easier to grab fast food.

We are looking at getting new blinds for the computer room but we have a very odd shaped window in there. I was happy to find that you can get your blinds custom made for your windows for no more than you would pay for just picking them up at the store and you can get all kinds of colors instead of just white.

We want to get the dogs some new pet beds but Smokie makes that very difficult for everyone. I don’t know what we are going to do with him because now he is refusing to use the litter-box. We can not take him anywhere you know like a shelter or something because he is so mean they would put him to sleep and we just can’t do that but he is getting so out of control. With us going to Asia this summer Matt’s parents are going to have to take care of him and that is not going to work out so well at all.
